A message from the School Leaders of PUC Triumph Charter Academy & PUC Triumph Charter High School:
PUC Triumph Charter Academy & PUC Triumph Charter High School have been named 2024 California Distinguished Schools. This recognition is granted by the California state department of education to an exceptional group of 293 public schools across the state, only 52 of which are in LAUSD. Schools are recognized in one of two categories: those closing the achievement gap and those demonstrating exceptional student performance.
We are obviously thrilled to receive this honor. It recognizes the hard work, passion, and determination our students, teachers and parents have shown. We are proud of building a culture rooted in perseverance, the value of education, and grit needed to overcome obstacles and challenges. Our teachers have worked hard in providing our students with safe, supportive, and challenging classrooms that ask students for their best. We are celebrating but also eager to continue working with our families in supporting every student that comes through our doors.
As we all know, this work isn’t easy. We continue to respond to the socioemotional and academic needs of our students, providing them with support and academic intervention in response to student learning. Our teachers continue to strive in developing and pushing their practices for the benefit of our students, data oriented and guided in care, focused on providing students of every group with the needed skills for academic success and learning.
Thank you so much for your commitment and engagement, and for the honor of educating your student. We look forward to continuing our work with students and families to guide our students to their very best.
